Why doing an Allure-Modelschool training ? Allure-Modelschool trainings are needed to success in the world of modeling. Many models from the greatest agencies in Paris get into our hands to learn good practises in terms of hair dressing, make up, fashion walk, stylism, and photos.
Can I pay in more than one time? Actually yes. It is possible to pay in more than one time, according to the training (1, 2, 3 or 4 monthly payment).
What is the duration of a training ? Trainings have different duration, they are organized according with your schedule. The shortest traingin can be organized on half a day, the longest training can be split in several half-days on two weeks for example;
Ex 1: you are available only at noon:
first day, you have an appointement at the hair dresser at 12h30. Second day, appointement to the make up at 12h30, etc...
Ex2: you come from a far destination for a restricted time:
First day: make up, hair dresser, stylism, ... Second day: photo shooting, ...
Who are our partners? We selected prestigious partners, which work everyday in the fashion industry. Dessange Opéra hair dresser, for example, regularly participates in great parisian designer fashion shows.
Where can I get agencies' and castings' adresses ? At the end of each training, we give you a full list of official agencies in modeling, comedian, artists, and castings.
Do I have to be 5'8 or taller to follow one of your training ? Whatever tall you are, you can make an Allure-Modelschool training.
What are the criterias to be a model ? It's not mandatory (except for the agency models) but it's recommended to have a good tall/weight ratio. You can start our trainings if you are at least 14 years old.
What is a portfolio ? It is the support on which you place your photo in full page format, so you can present yourself to castings.
What are comp-cards ? It's really like a card in half page format, recto-verso with your pictures and your measurements.
What happens during photo shoot ? Our photographers work with a team composed with an hair dresser, make up, stylist. The all team will be taking care of you.
What am I going to learn during an hair dresser course, for example ? The partners you will meet all work in fashion. They will give you many advices on hair styles that fit you the best, and those you should avoid. They will explain you the good way to make yourself a great hair.
What is a model ? There is several type of model: models who works in Agencies (about 40%), models in Freelance (about 30%), models for photo or adverstising (about 30%).
Allure-Modelschool can train you for those 3 types of modeling.
Can I follow a training during week ends ? You can follow traingings during saturdays and some courses can be organized on sundays.
Where can I stay during my training ? Allure-Modelschool works with several hotels in Paris with special prices (non included in the price of trainings). Ask us for more informations.
